WVU Ski Day At A-Basin

The WVU Ski Day, on the Beach, at A-Basin is fast approaching. This is a signature WVU RMC event that you don't want to miss. Saturday, April 2. Look for the WVU Flag on the "Beach" near the lifts.  I am still looking for a volunteer to help with set up in the morning. We will pay your parking fee into the lot. Email me jmccray@mines.edu if interested.  Denver microbrewery Upslope is sponsoring the even with some fantastic beer! Thanks to Luke Franklin and Upslope for this! Cost for the event is is $5 each for dues-paying members. $10 for a family if your dues are paid. $10 each for guests or others mountaineers who have not paid their dues.  If you have not paid your dues in 2011, bring a check made out to "WVU RMC". $10 individual, $15 family. Extra donations are welcome.  I will be sending out a Yahoo Poll on the group list to see who plans to come, and what you will eat (burgers, chicken, dogs, etc).  We had less than 5 requests for group discount tickets, which is far short of that needed to get the group discount. Costco has the best deal on A-basin tickets. I may also have a few extra, first-come first-served, so see me early in the day if you want them. Plenty of WVU alumni at the event will have season passes and are willing to let you buy a pass at a discount on their pass.  Look for the Yahoo Poll!
